The training provides opportunities for supervised research study leading to the degrees of Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the following areas:-

The international university is known for its sound research base and academic excellence. The exact subject area available for a research degree is determined by the current research activities of the university. The precise focus of the research is agreed between the student and the supervisor. However, where possible the research area chosen is an area that meets the interests and needs of the student.
The word limits for a research degree dissertation are as follows:-
- MPhil 50,000 – 65,000 words
- PhD 80,000 – 100,000 words

Admission Requirements
Students applying for a research degree should hold one of the following qualifications:-
- A masters degree or its equivalent in an appropriate subject, in the case of a PhD degree course
- A good honours degree or its equivalent, in the case of an MPhil degree course.
- Those not meeting these requirements may be considered on a case by case basis.
Duration Research Degrees
- MPhil 2 years full-time
- PhD 3 – 4 years full-time
