About this Course
This course is taught and assessed at level 4/5 on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF)
Mental illness is one of the biggest problems in the world. This is an advanced course that deals with the understanding, prevention and management of mental illness.
The course is suitable for you if you are already working as or intend to work as a nurse, doctor, care worker, social worker, resettlement worker, housing officer, homeless worker, mental health worker or in the charitable professions.

Course Delivery and Attendance
The course is delivered in a variety of methods, including direct lectures, case studies, tutorials, field practice and group work.
Assessment
Assessment of this course is based on essay-based written assignments, reports, presentations, research projects and direct examinations.
